Pssssttt, want a sneak peek???

We are 10 days away from the GCPA family consignment sale!!  The weather is getting cooler & I know we are all finding clothes that our children (or we...tee hee) are no longer fitting into as we drag them out of our attics or spare closets.  Do you find that your child has no jeans that fit him anymore, but don't want to go and spend $15+ on buying more that will only fit for one year?  Well the GCPA consignment sale wants YOU!!  We are still looking for consignors & definitely looking for people to come out & shop!  We want this sale to be successful to help raise money for the Greensboro Cerebral Palsy Association which helps to fund the Infant Toddler program at Gateway.  These children and their families rely on this program immensely & we could use your help in helping to raise money for it!  We also want to help out our community during these tough economic times by helping families to find quality, affordable clothing, furniture, and accessories. 

I don't know about you, but I love getting a sneak peek at a great sale and getting to shop before others!!  There is nothing like getting first dibs on something that you really want.  So, how do you get this opportunity??  Consignors and volunteers will get to shop before the public during some special hours at the beginning of the sale.  Once again, if you are interested in being a consignor (we have just a few slots left!) or a volunteer, please contact Jennifer at 336-215-8914.

Have you started cleaning?

The first GCPA Family consignment sale will be here before we know it!! Have you signed up to be a consignor yet? I know we all have clothes that we or our children have outgrown. Also, with Halloween just around the corner....do you have some old costumes that your child will never wear again?? Why not sell them?? It helps you put some money in your pockets & it also helps a worthwhile organization at the same time!

Also, CONSIGNORS CAN DEDUCT THE REMAINING 40% OF THE SALES PRICE AS A TAX-DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTION.(ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO GREENSBORO CEREBRAL PALSY INFANT TODDLER PROGRAM) So start cleaning out your closets and contact familyconsignmentsale@gmail.com to become a consignor.

Please pass on the sale dates to all of your friends, and even if you do not have anything to sell come on out, and do some shopping! We will have gently used children's and adult items for sale. I know I will be selling items that my child has barely used or worn (clothes, shoes, costumes, baby items). That is the great things about consignment sales...you know the items will be good quality! So why pay full price at the stores? The GCPA does so many great things for our children (yes I am a former GCPA Infant-toddler parent), and we need your support! So grab a friend & some coffee & come out ready to shop on October 16 & 17!

Welcome to the official site of the Greensboro Cerebral Palsy Family Consignment Sale!

Our Fall/ Winter Sale will be held Friday, October 16 (9am -8pm) and Saturday, October 17 (8am-12pm) when remaining items will be half price.

We are currently looking for consignors of the following items:

~Good Quality Fall/ Winter clothing (all sizes men, women, & children), athletic wear, costumes, and Holiday Outfits

~Toys, games, books, bikes, baby equipment & furniture, strollers, cars, & special needs equipment

~Gently worn shoes

~Current style maternity clothing

Consignors receive 60% of the sales price (less $1.00 for a handling fee). Consignors can deduct the remaining 40% of the sales price as a tax deductible contribution. ALL proceeds will go to the Greensboro Cerebral Palsy Infant Toddler Program!
